Types Of Dry Freight Container
Standard
- 20ft Standard Dry Freight Container - These containers are suitable for the easy intermodal shipment of smaller and heavier non-perishable dry cargo.
- 40ft Standard Dry Freight Container- These containers provide double the capacity as a standard 20ft container but have the same payload of approximately 20 tons. Subsequently, these containers are better suited for the intermodal shipment of more volume but lighter non-perishable dry cargo.

20-foot Dry Container
- Maximum Payload Capacity: Approximately 28,000 to 32,000 kilograms (62,000 to 71,000 pounds).
- Tare Weight (Empty Weight): 2,300 to 2,500 kilograms (5,100 to 5,500 pounds).
- Maximum Gross Weight: 30,300 to 34,500 kilograms (67,000 to 76,000 pounds) when fully loaded.
40-Foot Dry Container
- Maximum Payload Capacity: Approximately 26,000 to 30,000 kilograms (57,000 to 66,000 pounds).
- Tare Weight (Empty Weight): 3,700 to 4,200 kilograms (8,200 to 9,300 pounds).
- Maximum Gross Weight: 29,600 to 34,200 kilograms (65,000 to 75,000 pounds) when fully loaded.
